Join Darryl Merchant as he shares the story of the families displaced during the creation of Shenandoah National Park.

Darryl is chairman of the Front Royal-Warren County Chapter of the Blue Ridge Heritage Project. The goal of the Project is to establish memorial sites to acknowledge and honor the displaced families and individuals whose sacrifice made it possible for us to enjoy the park. Darryl’s ancestors were displaced during the creation of Shenandoah National Park.
